Cauchois - Basket of flowers
Eugène Henri Cauchois (Rouen 1850 - Paris 1911) Sc. French One of the leading exponents of the Peinture Fleuriste of the second half of the 19th century, he made his debut at the Paris Salon in 1874. Many of his works are preserved in the museums of Rouen, Perpignan and Louviers. Oil painting on canvas depicting a basket of white flowers in a non-coeval gilded wooden frame.
