Small, delightful painting with children playing. It comes from Northern Europe, likely Flemish; it may even date back to the late 1700s.
For years I've kept it to myself in my office, simply leaning on a secretaire: the image of those children playing brightens my mood.
It measures only cm. 30.5 x h.35. The frame is its original one, only restored in one corner that had broken.
