Giulio Cesare Romani
Oil on a tablet of beautiful proportions and excellent painting, bears the signature "G. Romani" in the lower right hand corner in red, and on the back in pencil. A Tuscan painter of genre, he died in Livorno in 1900 and died in Florence in 1972, maintaining freshness and speed of execution in all his works. This in particular comes from the "Guido Marangoni" Collection in Milan, closed for more than 70 years and only recently opened by the great-grandchildren.
