PAINTING WITH FEMALE NUDE, SECOND HALF OF THE 19TH CENTURY
Elegant oil painting on canvas, embellished with a carved and silvered wooden frame. The painting depicts the study of a female nude, a typical drawing from the Academy of Fine Arts. The figure of the woman, seen in profile, has her hair up and her arms resting on a chair, the terminal parts of which have not been completed but only outlined. This is a work appreciable for its stylistic and figurative rendering, capable of lending elegance and a touch of antiquity to any environment. In the lower right corner, the initials "G. F." can be seen, referring to the painter. Italian manufacture from the second half of the 19th century.
