Galli Naples, 1892 "Edoardo Galli, Neapolitan painter documented by Comanducci in the Illustrated Dictionary of Painters (pages 1351-1352), was born in the Neapolitan city on November 20, 1854. He abandoned his legal career to devote himself to painting by going to the workshop and becoming the favorite by the painter Domenico Morelli, from whom he specialized in portraiture. Having a particular success in his area of origin, he participated in many exhibitions in Italy and abroad with paintings that are now found in some of the most important galleries in the world.
