Italian manufacture, Biedermeier style and era, 1815-48. Measures Ø 14.5 cm, frames 37x37. The two miniatures represent two noble ladies dressed luxuriously. One with a lace cap, the other with a large lace collar. Both are seated on seats whose backs are visible. The gorgeous fabrics of both clothing and furnishings are meticulously described. The carved and gilded leaf frames are magnificent. Excellent state of conservation.
