Antique Italian painting of the first half of the 19th century. Oil painting on canvas depicting a religious subject of sacred art, Saint Jerome, of excellent pictorial quality. Framework of beautiful size and pleasant furniture, for antiques and collectors of ancient painting. Wooden frame not coeval, from 20th century, carved and gilded with beautiful decoration. Painting full of characters and decorative elements, of excellent brightness and particular perspective. It has some small signs of aging, overall in good state of conservation.
