Elegant devotional painting executed in oil on panel, probably of European school between the 18th and 19th centuries. The work depicts the Child Jesus, sitting outdoors, wrapped in a rich red tunic with soft drapery. The sweet and slightly inclined face is crowned by a luminous halo, a typical iconographic element of sacred painting. In his right hand he holds a refined garland of brightly colored flowers, rendered with meticulous attention to detail, while the other hand makes an open and benevolent gesture. The essential landscape background and the intense chromatic composition give the scene a serene and contemplative atmosphere.
