(QF155) The category antique paintings of flowers proposes an oil painting on canvas from the late nineteenth century. It is a late 19th century flower painting, in the first canvas and frame of the time. The painting is signed J. Stappers on the lower left. Stappers Julien is a Belgian painter born 1875 and died in 1960, he essentially painted flowers and still lifes. The still life painting with flowers represents three vases, in which bouquets of flowers are placed, in the foreground are collected asters with magnificent colors.
