They are two small paintings of exquisite workmanship, executed in the pictorial manner of the Venetian master Giuseppe Ponga, one of the most valid view painters working in Venice between the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century. His paintings are distinguished by an airy lightness and a particularly lively and pleasant color scheme. His depictions, always referring to the great Masters of the 18th century, are of great elegance. These two small jewels are an excellent example of his painting, showing a personal style in the reinterpretation of eighteenth-century Venetian painting. The works are complete with their original frames, which in turn reflect the rocaille taste, revisited in a manner consistent with the characteristics of the paintings. B. Tiepolo and F. Guardi. He received prestigious commissions, such as the decorations of the Palace of Parliament in Budapest and some rooms of the Royal Palace of Venice.
