CHP266 - Majestic antique fireplace in sandstone. Sandstone is a sedimentary rock composed of granules of varying mineralogical composition, which resemble sand in appearance. The fireplace is richly carved with columns and acanthus leaves. 16th century, from Umbria. It can be completed with various fireplace accessories: fire dogs or ash screen and back plate. Maximum dimensions cm L 196 (top) x H 194, central part width cm 168. The mouth measures cm L 145 x H 148, montant depth cm 36, shelf depth cm 63.
