Elegant pair of Venetian Louis XVI stools, dating back to the late eighteenth century, in carved and lacquered wood with gilding. The model belongs to the Venetian tradition of the period, with truncated conical fluted legs, gilded reserves and corner dice decorated with carved rosettes. The lacquering, in the light tones typical of the era, presents touch-ups and antique restorations, together with wear consistent with time, which give the pieces an authentic and very decorative character. The carved parts also show a pleasant consumption of use. The seat retains a historical fabric, now to be renewed, but useful to restore the original aesthetic balance. The overall design, sober and elegant, perfectly reflects the late eighteenth-century Venetian line, making this pair particularly fascinating and suitable for both furniture and collection.
