This bookcase, made in France in the 19th century, in mahogany feather with oak wood interiors, is structured in two parts, an upper and a lower one. In the upper part, slightly less deep, two glass doors close a space divided by shelves. The lower part has, at the top, two drawers and, below, two wooden doors that close a compartment with an internal shelf. Projecting frames and circular wooden elements decorate the piece of furniture creating movement through lights and shadows and enhancing the elegant chromatic effect that the mahogany feather creates with its characteristic veins.
It is a very versatile piece of furniture, which can be used as a sideboard in the kitchen, in the dining room or in a living room, or as a bookcase, also suitable for entrances, studies, bedrooms and bathrooms. Its sober and refined appearance and the color of mahogany make it suitable for environments with antique and modern furnishings.
