Item description Finishing of six chairs in walnut. Group of chairs consisting of wavy front legs and saber-shaped rear legs, joined laterally by a crossbar. Upholstered seat with “linone” fabric in the lobster red tone, back with a sinuous shape, centered on the crosspiece with a wing-shaped carving and grip on the shaped upper crosspiece. The wavy but at the same time austere line, the characteristic central carving, place these furnishings in the first half of the 19th century, where the characters of the recently completed Empire style are still strongly present. The simplicity that transpires, combined with the desire to highlight stability and strength, betray a piut invoice
