DESCRIPTION Pair of chairs, in walnut, Luigi Filippo. These seats have an open back, arched shape, richly carved with a cartouche motif in the central part, surrounded by leafy volutes. The chair is large and shaped and is supported at the front by two moved and carved legs that are grafted onto the band in order to continue the decorative motif, while the simpler rear legs arch slightly backwards. This pair of chairs, while presenting a common design at the time, are distinguished by a superior quality of workmanship and a particular attention to sections and proportions.
