Item Description Pair of Umbertine chairs, in walnut. An upholstered seat with a geometric shape, bordered by a molded band, is supported by two turned, fluted front legs and two slightly arched back legs. These elements are connected to each other by two lateral crosspieces, which are in turn joined by a shaped central crosspiece. The bands under the top allow the leg joint to be refined through a delicate apron-like shape. The backrest, developed in height, is characterized by arches obtained with the use of vertical crosspieces ending with a curve. The same move is then reported in conclusion with the addition of a "grip" for moving the furniture. The elegance of these chairs is certainly given by the beautiful movement of the backrest, which, through a remarkable vertical development, is light and sinuous, and by a search for detail: the rich decoration obtained with a set of decorations taken from a repertoire of several previous styles well composed are typical of the Umbertine style. Dimensions Height: 109 cm, to the seat 47 cm Width: 49 cm Depth: 45 cm Particularities: Essence Walnut Style Umbertine Period Late 19th Century Origin Italy price 450.00 euros
