Canterano chest of drawers with Emiliano flap inlaid
Rare and Superb Inlaid 2-drawer flap chest of drawers, in solid walnut and various woods (elm, maple, poplar), built in the Emilian area between the end of the 17th and the beginning of the 18th century and never restored. Full-bodied, imposing furniture, extremely rare in this type, flap, with a broken-fronted cabinet, with briar veneer and country maple threads, Bella, the fratinata ciabatta, and the owl beak top, all indicators of style and origin . Completely intact and original. Hardware and handles, present coeval and functioning. Perfect state of conservation, still in the first patina. No restoration recommended.
