Beautiful Empire style walnut veneered chest of drawers with solid columns from the early 19th century of French origin. The chest of drawers is completely original in all its parts (see photos) and DOES NOT REQUIRE RESTORATION. The polishing was done with shellac using the "wick" technique. From the photos, I advise you to focus on the feather veneering of the front part of the chest of drawers, which is of beautiful quality. The chest of drawers is finished with an original "black Belgium" marble top. Note the quality of its bronzes, both on the columns and the handles, which have been cleaned while maintaining their original patina. The interiors of the drawers are in oak, locks and keys are fully functional. During the restoration, the drawer runners were restored and the sides reinforced for greater preservation over time.
