This antique chest of drawers, an expression of high Lombard and Milanese cabinetmaking, features a solid structure and a linear, squared shape, resting on four elegant truncated pyramid feet.
The rigidity of the structural lines is a distinctive feature of the Louis XVI style.
The piece of furniture is entirely veneered and inlaid with precious woods, including walnut burl, maple, and bois de rose.
The rosette decoration with leaves extends across the front, sides, and top.
The front is divided into three drawers of equal size.
The handles are made of chased bronze.
