Louis XV chest of drawers inlaid Haute Savoie in walnut
Exciting and unmissable, Louis XV chest of drawers inlaid, in solid walnut dating back to the mid-18th century. Incredible piece of furniture for its presence and elegance, of extraordinary dimensions and proportions, enriched with boxwood threads, with a geometric motif and scrolls, on the drawers and on the aprons. Wavy front, panels on the sides obtained, “owl's beak” top, “cabriol” feet ending in an inverted cone, indicative of epoch and provenance. A small wind rose motif enriches the center of the top. Superbly first patina. Hardware present, contemporary and functional. Spruce interiors and linings. No restoration recommended. The vision and the event are welcome
