Louis XV chest of drawers moved and inlaid in walnut
Superb and scenographic, Louis XV Emilian chest of drawers inlaid inlaid, in solid walnut, threaded in maple, dating back to the second half of the 18th century. Incredible piece of furniture for shape and size, enriched by threads of swirl motifs and geometric motifs, on the drawers, on the hips and on the floor. The inlaid motif on the pilasters is beautiful, depicting a turned parade stick, enriched by a plume, in mixed woods. Owl beak top, cabriol feet, shaped aprons. indicative of period and provenance. Hardware present, contemporary and functional. Spruce interiors and linings. No restoration recommended. Viewing and possible collection on site is welcome.
