LOUIS XVI MARQUETRY CHEST OF DRAWERS, SECOND HALF OF THE 18TH CENTURY
Elegant chest of drawers veneered in poplar and walnut burl. Geometric inlays decorate the front, sides, and top, creating frames and adding further refinement. The chest of drawers features truncated pyramid legs typical of the Neoclassical period, and two ergonomic drawers for storing objects, which can be opened with lost-wax cast bronze handles. This piece of furniture is of great taste and elegance, capable of furnishing any environment with class and refinement. Sienese manufacture (Tuscany, Italy), from the Louis XVI period, around the second half of the 18th century.
