NEOCLASSICAL PAINTED CHEST OF DRAWERS LATE 18TH CENTURY
Antique and elegant chest of drawers in poplar wood painted with lean tempera in gold, brown and white. The structure stands out for its truncated pyramid legs and the top decorated with faux marble painting, which further enhances its refinement. The pictorial decorations on the front and sides recall classic intertwined motifs, while in the center of the sides there is a flower that completes the ensemble. The chest of drawers has two ergonomic drawers without handles, but equipped with keys. The entire piece of furniture is in completely original condition, with only small conservative restorations at the structural level and an anti-woodworm treatment with sanitization of the interior. It is a piece of furniture of remarkable taste, capable of furnishing any environment with refinement and elegance. Tuscan (Siena) manufacture from the neoclassical period, datable to around the late 18th century.
