Pair of inlaid Rolo chests of drawers
Pair of chests of drawers manufactured by "Rolo", Ruozzi workshop operating at the end of the 18th century.
Second half of the 18th Century
Pair of solid walnut chests of drawers entirely inlaid on the front, sides, and top.
On the front, there is an inlaid depiction of an Ideal Fortified City, executed using different types of wood to highlight the perspective lines of the architectures. The sides are inlaid with different architectures, and the top features a typical lozenge-shaped inlay with a rosette inside.
Very good state of preservation.
