Pair of neoclassical period chests of drawers, veneered and inlaid according to the taste of the period, made in Emilia at the end of the 18th century. Consisting of three drawers flush on the front, one smaller under the top and two larger ones, built with a concealed chain so as to offer a continuous surface, comfortable for inlay. Fir structure veneered in various essences, including the dominant striped walnut burl in the large fields, surrounded by a series of olive, cypress and plum borders lined with maple fillets. On the front and tops are inserted classic vases with ring handles and a large scalloped lid, made of boxwood and maple. Pairs of chests of drawers are rare and suitable for furnishing a modern room to which they add warmth and the flavor of time.
