PAIR OF NEOCLASSICAL CHESTS OF DRAWERS, LATE 18TH CENTURY
Elegant pair of chests of drawers veneered in walnut burl and elm burl. The chests of drawers are distinguished by the tapered truncated pyramidal legs and the throat carved into the under-top band, giving a touch of refinement. They have three ergonomic drawers, equipped with authentic locks and handles in lost-wax cast bronze, symbolizing high quality craftsmanship. The beauty of these pieces lies both in the veneering effects and in the elegant inlays on the front, decorated with plant scroll motifs, which enhance their aesthetics. Of great value and refinement, these chests of drawers represent an ideal furnishing complement for large rooms, such as a living room or a bedroom, adding a touch of class and timeless elegance. Venetian or Ferrarese manufacture from the neoclassical period, dating to around the end of the 18th century.
