(The first 3 photos are before the intervention)
Splendid Venetian Louis XV chest of drawers with serpentine front and slender legs with an elegant sinuous movement. A long, shaped apron descends on the front and sides.
Its condition was already excellent, and the restoration, carried out to the highest professional standards, was limited only to the replacement of some old incongruous dowels due to previous interventions, the cleaning of oxidized paint, and the restoration of the polishing with shellac applied with a pad.
The Louis XV chest of drawers in the two-drawer version has always been considered the most beautiful and sought-after piece of furniture.
The proportions of the furniture are truly extraordinary: the contained dimensions and the slender legs increase its elegance in respect of the cabinet-making tradition that distinguishes the Venetian furnishings of the 1700s.
We issue a certificate of authenticity that certifies the correct era and absolute integrity.
