PAINTED CHEST, SECOND HALF OF THE 17TH CENTURY
Elegant and unique chest in solid chestnut wood, painted in lean tempera in shades of red, green, yellow and black. The chest is rectangular in shape, with corbel feet and an overhanging top. Inside, which is very spacious, there is also a small additional shelf. The chest is decorated on the front and sides with geometric motifs and coats of arms attributable to a family from the Marche region, characterized by three figured heads in profile. It is a unique piece of furniture, capable of furnishing any room with a touch of antiquity and class. Marche manufacture (central Italy) from the Louis XIV period, from the second half of the 17th century.
