Tuscan-Ligurian chest, 16th century
Tuscan-Ligurian chest entirely made of walnut, including the bottom and back, from the late 16th century. Carved and edged on all sides, with an impressive basin-shaped cornice and coeval claw feet. Inside, it has a lock with a coeval key from the period and a small storage compartment.
Completely authentic object without any restorations or replacements.
