Venetian chest in walnut
Venetian chest in walnut wood,
second half of 1600.
Front with three vertical columns that each end
on two feet with a curl carving in the center.
Between the columns two rectangular tiles with a double fillet in light wood inlaid,
motif repeated vertically also on the three columns.
Inside, on the left, a small compartment with a lid for storing smaller items
Original working lock.
Restored and polished with shellac with a wax finish
