This beautiful solid walnut wood chest, the work of a Lombard carver, features a front with a single panel that, in the central part, is embellished by the shape of the coat of arms of the commissioning family; the blazon shows an oblique band with four spheres impressed, accompanied by two stars, one at the top and one at the bottom.
The panel is finally completed, at its ends, by a pair of six-point half rosettes.
The body of the chest rests on a base with a richly carved and thick molding.
The chest is complete with original lock and hinges.
Very good condition. Cleaning and polishing have been carried out.
The furniture, like all our items, is sold with a certificate of authenticity.
