Walnut refectory table with a two-piece top, Lyre legs crafted with scrolls and carvings on the four fronts connected to the top by two wrought iron crosspieces. The refectory table originated in the Middle Ages within monasteries and was often used by copying monks. Its shape therefore lends itself to being used as a desk. This item has a first patina and requires restoration.
