Description
Ebonized wood drop-front desk, characterized by a refined curved structure and curved legs. The surface is richly decorated with geometric inlays of gilded copper and mother-of-pearl, creating a delicate ornamental effect in contrast to the dark background of the ebonized wood. The upper part features a openwork gilded bronze railing, while the chased gilded bronze applications embellish corners and legs. The drop-leaf top conceals a bois de rose veneered writing compartment with compartments and three drawers.
