Louis XVI Neapolitan writing desk
Small Neapolitan Louis XVI desk, veneered in rosewood, single upper drawer and two small drawers on the sides. Finely inlaid on the top and sides, with a classic rose window decoration in maple, edges of the drawers with bois de rose threads; truncated pyramidal legs also threaded in maple supported by small bronze plinths, with elegant geometric motifs in the upper part. Naples, late 18th century.
