Splendid Trevisan fall-front desk from the Louis XVI period, with three drawers, entirely veneered in walnut wood, framed with cherry reserves and geometric 'Greek' inlays on the entire surface. The drop-front conceals a beautiful internal chest of drawers, composed of four drawers, with a central door and, very rarely, also entirely inlaid.
The piece of furniture is thus very elegant both closed and open; we know, in fact, that a prerogative of this type of furniture from the upper Veneto and Trentino area is the rather rough internal composition, often made of poor wood.

The fall-front desk is in perfect condition, original in every part, including the working locks, internal parts and back.
