Marche, Pesaro, around 1740 Lacquered flap Measurements cm. h. 104 x l. 147 x d. 56 Provenance: Pesaro, Villa del Generale Conservation: excellent Lacquered three-drawer flap, externally decorated with mecca gilded plant shoots and polychrome lacquer influences on a black background threaded with mecca gold. The interiors are in purple red lacquer threaded with mecca gold, the handles in excellent condition are also gilded. The cabinet is moved on the front as well as on the sides. The internal cabinet is composed of a central niche and four side drawers. The piece of furniture stands out for its particularity, very rare at the time, to be decorated on
