Rolo eighteenth century flap cabinet
Important limelight of the first half of the eighteenth century attributable to the workshop of the cabinetmaker Giuseppe Preti (1692-1770) The piece of furniture entirely veneered in "Marqueterie" features an important inlay with vegetal and naturalistic decorations typical of the Rolese ebalnist. Inside the calatoia we find two orders of broken-line drawers veneered in briar and threaded in maple wood, secrets on the internal surface typical of the period embellish the piece of furniture.
