Inlaid game table
Italian game table from the early nineteenth century,
in elm wood with "toppo" inlays
The top rotates and gives access to a compartment
where cards or game objects were stored.
The squares that decorate the surface,
made with the toppo inlay technique,
are enriched inside by elm root.
The inlays are present on both sides of the top.
The pyramidal legs in elm
make the object elegant and slender.
Inlaid decorations are also present
on the four sides and on the edge of the table
The size with the open top is 90 cm per side
In good condition, does not require restoration
