Museum-quality and unique
Inlaid Louis XVI table, in solid walnut,
and inlays of various woods (maple, plum, rosewood, olive, ebony),
dating back to the second half of the 18th century.
Produced with the knife and commesso inlay technique,
it has in the center, a elm flower motif,
perimetered inside an ebony-threaded octagon,
with reserves in olive wood and field maple.
Superb work performed on the top
and on the rosewood bands, arranged in a herringbone pattern.
Inverted pyramid foot ending on a vase,
indicative of style and origin.
It has a full-length drawer in the band.
Interiors and linings in fir.
No restoration recommended
