Bolognese kneeler of the seventeenth century
Antique Bolognese kneeler, made of walnut in the seventeenth century. The small doors, which give access to a compartment with a shelf in the center, combined with the large drawer make this kneeler versatile for other uses such as bedside table or small bedroom furniture. The Emilian-style tiles are enriched in the center by a small bronze putto resting on acanthus leaves. The lock is original, the key adapted. The inside of the compartment and drawer are covered with blue and gold damask fabric. Restored and polished with shellac with a wax finish
