LOUIS XV GILT AND MECCA WOOD MIRROR, MID-18TH CENTURY
Elegant mirror of small dimensions, made of carved Swiss pine wood and partially gilded with pure gold leaf and partly with silver mecca. The frame of the mirror is decorated with vegetal spiral motifs both in the lower and upper parts. Inside the Swiss pine wood is also inserted another mirror, typical of the style of the period. It is a refined and elegant mirror, capable of furnishing any environment with class and refinement. Made in the Marche region (central Italy) during the Louis XV period, manufactured around the mid-18th century.
