Description: Antique tabernacle in marbled wood of Roman origin belonging to the second half of the 17th century. The front facade is characterized by four white marbled wooden columns ending with gilded wooden capitals. In the central part we find a door that depicts a chalice surmounted by the monogram "IHS" (from the Greek Iesus Hominum Salvador, "Jesus Savior of men") surrounded by rays, symbol of the Eucharist and the presence of Christ. Below the shelf is a dense carving in gilded wood depicting ears of wheat with a basket of flowers. The back and the hat still bear the original backgrounds of the time. Origin: Rome 17th century.
