Lombardy-Venetian walnut carved pantry – Second half of the 18th century
Small cabinet, or rather pantry, made entirely of solid walnut, from the Lombardy-Veneto area and datable to the second half of the eighteenth century. The two doors feature splendid rosettes carved directly into the solid wood of the panels, framed by fluted and reeded side uprights. The top is embellished with a frame carved with motifs of underlying leaves, executed with great skill.
The sides, made up of single boards, extend down to the ground forming the feet, giving the piece of furniture a compact and harmonious structure. Once the doors are opened, in the lower part of the piece of furniture there is an internal compartment accessible by lifting the top.
A rare object for its proportions and executive quality, ideal as a piece of furniture or a collector's item.
