Provençal sideboard in walnut
Walnut wood sideboard with two doors and three drawers
made in France in the first half of the 1800s.
The wavy frames, the sinuous leg and the movement of the band at the bottom
are typical of French Provençal furniture.
For the door and side panels, as well as the drawer fronts,
elm wood with marked veins was used.
The top, in solid walnut, bears the signs of time.
The fir wood interiors are also worn from use.
Restored and polished internally and externally with shellac with a wax finish.
