Elegant coffee table of Venetian manufacture, dating back to the Charles X period (circa 1830), made of cherry wood with refined quarter-veneered workmanship on the top. At the center stands out a rich inlaid ebony decoration, of stylized floral taste, with motifs that recall lilies and ornamental volutes, framed by a circular design of strong aesthetic impact. The top, with a diameter of 64 cm, is bordered by a wavy band characterized by a particular workmanship with small vertical elements applied with a rhythmic frame effect, which embellishes the profile. Under the edge hides a practical drawer, perfectly integrated into the structure. The central support stands out for the slenderness and elegance of the shapes: a turned and partially ebonized stem, from which three elegant volutes branch off that connect harmoniously to the top. The tripod base, ending with wavy feet, gives the furniture stability and at the same time visual lightness. Height: 78 cm Diameter: 64 cm A coffee table of refined workmanship, expression of the sober and elegant taste of the Charles X period, ideal both as a central element and as a piece of furniture of representation in a living room or study.
