Empire round table with full column in walnut - grissinated leg - early 19th century
FIRST EMPIRE ROUND TABLE MADE IN WALNUT. IT HAS A CENTRAL GRISSINATA LEG SUPPORTING ON A "TRIANGLE" SHAPED BASE AT THE END OF WHICH THREE COLUMNS WITH BRONZE CAPS SUPPORT THE TOP. THE TABLE IS EQUIPPED WITH TWO DRAWERS, ONE OPPOSED TO THE OTHER. THE TABLE IS COMPLETELY REMOVABLE THROUGH AN INTERLOCKING WEDGE PLACED UNDER THE BASE. EARLY 19th CENTURY. GOOD GENERAL CONDITIONS, THE PLAN HAS BEEN SANDED IN PREVIOUS RESTORATIONS AND PRESENTS TARLO STUCCATI HOLES (SEE PHOTOS). MEASUREMENTS: 79 CM HEIGHT, 102 CM DIAMETER.
