Round table inlaid Rolo in elm no Sorrentino
Rare and precious Rolo inlaid round table, in solid elm and inlays of various woods, dating back to the second half of the 19th century. found in an excellent state of conservation and expertly restored. Furniture of substance, with an important foot in solid elm, turned and inlaid. Superb work performed on the top, with opposing geometric motifs, which outline the central motif, where a classic graffiti appears, by the more accurate Tarsia Rolese, “The star or Rose of the Winds”, here interpreted in a very original and particular way. No restoration recommended. Viewing and possible collection on site is welcome.
