Rare and important, Rolo inlaid rectangular coffee table, with a baluster-shaped stem and shaped feet in an upside-down curl, called “Prussiana” due to the particular appreciation this kind of furniture enjoyed on the German market. Built in Rolo (RE) in the second half of the 19th century, in solid walnut wood and inlays of various woods (cherry, maple, plum, etc.) and superbly preserved, it reproduces a very particular and very rare design, in the most accurate Rolese inlay : the Chariot of Italic Glory pulled by lions, meticulous and particularly valuable graffiti.
