Large library table, England, mid-19th century, Queen Victoria period. A turned support supported by four curved saber legs acts as a support for the circular top. The top is covered in red leather, decorated with golden patterns, and has 4 drawers in the band alternating with four fake drawer spaces. The supports are made of mahogany and veneered in the band under the top on the mahogany top with a carved head wood edge. Chiselled bronze shoes in the shape of a feral paw, with brass wheels, bronze rosette-shaped drawer pulls, original brass locks.
