Walnut and mahogany trumeau, richly carved with foliate motifs and scrolls in the base band and curl-culminating feet, in the uprights and in the hat's cymatium, central grotesque mask in the drawer placed under the flap. Base composed of a pair of drawers inlaid with floral subjects in various essences, flap concealing a central door and two groups of three drawers on the sides, lift with paneled door inlaid in various essences, with a country and bacchanal subject, signed C. FERRANDI MCMLV. Italy, mid-20th century.
